Being a family-friendly employer goes way beyond supporting new parents (important as this is). Family is actually much wider; and better engagement comes from the broadest approach.
It works well to have a package of coaching sessions to be used over a time period as needed. Often we provide this as a blend with other support such as specific care advice. The journey does not follow a timeline as parental leave does, so it helps to allow individual tailoring within a given package of sessions.
