We recently released our Modern Families Index 2024 Report, highlighting the current risks and trends for employers, with practical solutions for engaging and retaining their working parents.

In this summary report, we asked a new question of the same 3,000 randomly-selected working parents: ‘What skills would their children and young people need in the future?’.

This enlightening standalone report also includes comments from our newly-formed Parent Panel – a diverse group of Bright Horizons early years settings parents.

For employers, understanding which skills your working parents prioritise for their young people is crucial. Not only for current employees, and the ways in which you can best support their family wellbeing, and therefore their working lives, but also for the future of workplace communication, collaboration and success.
