The combination of an ageing population and increased retirement age means that caring is becoming a reality for a growing number of people. Across the UK today there is 6.5 million carers – that’s 1 in 8 adults who is caring, unpaid, for a loved one who is older, disabled or seriously ill.

With 6,000 people becoming carers every day, the magnitude of the issue is only growing and there has never been a more important time for organisations to support all aspects of their people's caring responsibilities.
