MFI Sector Cuts 2023:

This year, 3,000 working parents/carers took part in the Modern Families Index (MFI). As a whole, the Index shows that:

• family life remains a top priority for working parents and carers
• more employees feel that their organisation cares about their work and home balance
• employees’ expectations of workplace support reflect both their priorities and the current economic climate.

This report focuses on sector-specific findings in the Manufacturing and Construction sectors and reflects on the results against the backdrop of global supply chain disruption, cost of living, mental health challenges and the need for ever more workers.
