Bright Horizons Modern Families Index 2023 - NHS & Healthcare Sector

This year, 3,000 working parents/carers took part in the Modern Families Index (MFI).

As a whole, the Index shows that:

• family life remains a top priority for working parents and carers
• more employees feel that their organisation cares about their work and home balance
• employees’ expectations of workplace support reflect both their priorities and the current economic climate.

This report focuses on sector-specific findings from the NHS and healthcare sector, reflecting on results inevitably influenced by the impact of the pandemic, extreme working conditions, high pressure and long hours.
