Unlocking the  Lessons of Lockdown: An Employer’s Guide

In Quarter 2 this year we saw a dramatic change in the way we all live and work when a lockdown was enforced in response to the growing Covid-19 pandemic.

Amidst all the other impacts, the situation created a “testing ground” for flexible and remote working practices which became “the new normal” almost overnight.  Questions and doubts about whether employees could be trusted to manage their workloads remotely, whether technology would support communication in a completely dispersed workforce, and how individuals and businesses would cope – were given a unique opportunity to be explored nationwide in real time.

To help capture and measure these outcomes, Bright Horizons has compiled this report, based on a survey of over 55 employers and a separate survey of 1,500 working parents.
